Disney is going to re-release The Little Mermaid to theaters, but it will be part of Disney "Second Screen" experience. So what does that mean?
Moviegoers are instructed to download an iPad app prior to the movie, where they are encouraged, during the movie, to take their iPads out to follow along with the moviegoing experience by playing around with what's in the app. Why do you need to go to the cinema for this?
