Field Trip is a Google tour guide mobile app that pushes you tips and information about your surroundings. It is now available for Google Glass Explorers and uses near perfect augmented reality.
Miantic Labs created Field Trip and had originally designed the app for Glass in the first place. You could walk down the street and pass the Empire State Building and have a blurb about its background pop up in your field of vision for example.
