The Navia is an eight seat shuttle that doesn't look like anything more than a golf cart, but it is loaded with autonomous technology. And it will be debuting in Singapore.
The Navia features touchscreen navigation and an electric motor and can even park itself when it's not ferrying folks around. There's a system of lasers and sensors that detect anything in its way and allows the vehicle to properly avoid obstacles in real time.
The company behind Navia aims to provide transport that can navigate university campuses, airports, theme parks and hospital complexes. The current generation of Navia tops out at 12.5 MPH.
