Here's a technology all cars need. One that can find potholes. They're the meanest menace on the road, all over the world. Jaguar Land Rover believes that instead of waiting for the government to fix them, cars should be able to detect them, and then build a database to share that information to other cars.
The company is working with the Coventry City council on this project.
We already collect lots of data which we monitor very carefully ourselves but having this kind of extra information might allow us to further improve our maintenance programs which would save the taxpayer money.
