Most people are wondering, why didn't they call it the iWatch instead? Apple's foray into wearable tech is here. The Apple Watch follows the footsteps of the iPod and has a scroll wheel-inspired Digital Crown.

Users can scroll, zoom and navigate the Apple Watch and even activate Siri with the Digital Crown.

It has a flexible Retina display - a laminated crystal of sapphire.

The watch still employs touchscreen too, and to switch between face designs, just swipe.

Two included apps will give you a picture of your health and fitness - Activity and Workout. They will monitor movement throughout the day and track dedicated workouts.

Crafted from custom alloys of stainless steel, aluminum, and 18-karat gold, it will work alongside the iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, 6, and 6 Plus and start at $349 USD when it launches early next year.
