As the wearable tech space heats up, everyone is rushing to make something everyone will wear. That everyone includes musician/Intel employee/iPhone accessory maker/autotune master will.i.am.
He recently appeared on a British TV show no one heard of to show his self-produced smartwatch and says he has completely replaced his phone. It actually looks quite impressive.
The clip from Alan Carr: Chatty Man is about as famous as the guy next door, shows off will.i.am's device, which was built by a company he self-started and self-funded. It can make and receive calls without tethering to a smartphone and can play music too.
After the folks at Engadget
found the Alan Carr: Chatty Man clip and wrote about it, will.i.am tweeted at them to confirm the watch is real.
