Supermodels are more than just women who were lucky enough to be born with a few genetic advantages and make money of it.

Take for instance like Lyndsey Scott, a rising Victoria's Secret model who also happens to love building apps during her down time.

And Lyndsey's not the only one putting both her brains and beauty to good use. Here's a list of some other notable runway beauties who are also renowned for their intelligence:

Cameron Russell

This all American model and Victoria’s Secret Angel was introduced to Bill Clinton at the tender age of 10, who told her to "stay in school, get to know as many different types of people as you can, and understand their dreams and aspirations." Russell took the advice to heart, studying Economics and Mathematics at Columbia University.

She's also dabbled in politics, and made an unsuccessful run in 2004 to be elected to the European Parliament.
