In collaboration with Mach by Hong Leong Bank, Malaysian film company We Are Kix set up a pool and dumped in 8,000 litres of non-newtonian fluid in Kuala Lumpur. Then they got people to run, jump, dance, play football, and even bike across it.

In short, it looked like buckets of AWESOME:

Non-Newtonian fluids are somewhat in between liquid and solid. They respond differently depending on how much force is applied to them. For example, if you ran across it quickly, you'd probably make it to the other side just fine. But if your weight dwells on it, you'll start to sink.

The science of oobleck might appear complicated, but the recipe is simple. Mix two parts cornstarch for every one part water, and voila! You've got yourself some gooey fun.
