Wired is getting in on the selfie revolution by giving its readers a chance to replace BuzzFeed's Jonah Peretti on a digital cover of the magazine.
But first, readers have to download the
Wired app, and follow instructions to generate a custom cover. The picture will only be entered to appear in
Wired's February issue if the image is shared on social media. According to
Wired:
A selection of the best covers will be featured on Wired.co.uk, with one singled out and published in the next issue of our magazine.
The sample magazine is live right now, so start taking those selfies, but don't forget to add #wiredgoesviral to your photos so we can find you!
The February edition takes an in-depth look at Peretti, who co-founded The Huffington Post, and went on to start BuzzFeed in 2006.
