We've always known money is dirty, figuratively and literally. But is it really STD DIRTY? Two bank tellers in Wenzhou, China have now been infected with genital warts after gynecologists told them they caught the STD from counting dirty money.

The women, according to doctors, were most likely indirectly infected after handling the dirty money and then using the bathroom without washing their hands prior to that.


Could they have gotten it from somewhere else? One teller said she was only sexually active with her fiance, who tested negative for any STDs, while the other claims to have had no prior sexual experience.


STDs cannot usually spread through mere contact, but genital warts can spread through skin-to-skin contact. The moral of the story here: ALWAYS WASH YOUR HANDS.
