For years, Ronald McDonald has been the mascot of McDonald's. He's been doing the job for such a long time, we figure, it might be time for him to retire. He needs a break from all those years of service.

1. Because it can get pretty uncomfortable sitting there for..ever.

2. Some people hate him, and go Game-of-Thrones on him.

3. He's got no freedom to do this thing at work.

4. Sometimes, eating just McDonald's all the time does this to you:

5. Some people regard him as a creep, and try to distance themselves from him.

6. Some kids resort to violence and abuse.

7. Ronald deserves some time alone to chill and relax. Just blue skies and no fast food would be good for him.

8. Because that would be better than having so many sit on you.

9. Or seeing your real-life counterpart(s) look even more creepy in real life.

10. Sitting too long can kill you. Ronald knows this.

11. And he's even flipped out before out of work frustration.

12. And paid back those kids who abused him.

13. He didn't sign up to work at McDonald's to babysit.

14. And he's only got a few friends left.

15. He's not everyone's favorite guy at the place.

16. Let the guy stand for a while already, okay? He's been sitting on a bench for way too long.

17. And most of his colleagues have all resigned already.
