You would think this is obvious but no, it wasn't.

More musuems are banning the selfie stick already now.

4. Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference

No reason why. They probably just hate it.

5. Football events and stadiums

Banned by UK teams Arsenal and Tottenham at first, more stadiums are catching on to this ban because it can also be used as a weapon.

6. Rio de Janeiro's Carnival Parade in Brazil

They don't want your selfie stick at this carnival.

7. China's Forbidden City

If China hates it, you know you've got a problem.

8. The Colosseum in Rome

A pair of 20 something-year-old American tourists carved their names into the Colosseum wall with their selfie sticks before snapping some pics.

9. The Palace of Versailles

It's a tourist destination, and they are banning the selfie stick claiming it to be obnoxious, and oh, also dangerous to the art.

10. The Royal Opera House

Who brings their selfie stick to a world class theater anyway?
