The Impact of Technology in Our Lives Can Be Seen On Our Work Desks

What would it feel like to work in a time where you didn't have a computer in front of you on your desk? Would it feel weird to you? Technology has made such an impact in our lives and this project called Evolution of the Desk illustrates just how much has changed over the last 35 years.
Created by Entrepreneurs from Harvard Innovation Lab, they show a desk with and without technology.
They created a replica of a 1980s desk with Mac Classic, a rolodex, a fax machine, file cabinet and a copy of the yellow pages.
They chose the 1980s as a starting point because it was a time when personal computers started to become commonplace.
The image below shows how a cluttered desk looks empty when it only holds a laptop and a smartphone. Which is admittedly, all we kinda need these days.
Which desk would you prefer to work on?
