Mercedes-Benz says goodbye to the SLS with the SLS AMG GT Final Edition. Featuring the SLS's standard front mounted engine - a 6.3 liter V8 with 591hp, the GT Final Edition will come in bold candy red paint, with a redesigned front bumper, new rear wing and brakes and carbon fiber applications throughout.
The Final Edition is only limited to 350 production units, and it will make its public debut at the LA and Tokyo Motor Shows.
Next year, the SLS will be replaced with the codenamed “C190″ – likely wearing the “SLC” moniker upon production and a smaller vehicle featuring a newly developed 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 rated at 493 bhp.
