Here's a closer look at the forthcoming “Chang Pao” pack from the likes of Converse and Hong Kong-based CLOT. Inspired by traditional Chinese formal wear, this collection features the First String model in off-white canvas and blue suede. Finer details include the Chang Pao-esque buttons, black laces, white rubber foxing and a gum rubber outsole.



Each pair will be packed in custom boxes, complete with a gold foil lid and printed dust bags. Available in limited quantities, the kicks will be released at JUICE’s Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taipei and Kuala Lumpur locations staring from November 2, before making their way to select Converse First String retailers worldwide on November 8.
