Best for its wooden frames, Oregon-based label Shwood attempts to experiment with a new material for it's 2013 Stone Collection. The timeless frames seen in this collection includes an update of Shwood’s Belmont and Canby, the latter being the label’s original flagship model.

A merge between precision technology and skilled craftsmanship, each of the frames were made using millimeter-thick slices of slate stone before being paired with 100% UVA/UVB protection Carl Zeiss lenses imported from Italy. Have a look at how they did it below:
