A new Tumblr called Histagrams imagines what a pre-social media history would have looked like. Covering Napoleon to Ben Franklin to The Beatles' first gig, the Tumblr covers some of the biggest events in history.

Created by Gusto NYC and Gavin Alaoen, the idea came to Gusto NYC when he was wondering what Instagram would have looked like if it had existed five years ago.

"Then I thought 10, 20 years ago, but why stop there?," he added. "The purpose of the site is putting a lighthearted/comedic spin on history, while also being able to comment on past/current pop-cultural behaviors."

Their other creative endeavors include Gusto's Celebs with No Eyebrows and Alaoen's McKayla is Not Impressed, which spawned the enormously successful meme of the same name.
