When it comes to handy-man-ning stuff, don't you wish you had a screwdriver somewhere around sometimes? Sometimes, vital hex wrenches seem to go missing, and when its time to remove furniture, or disassemble them, its a hassle to go to a store to get a replacement.

The folks at Nendo have come up with a genius solution that uses nothing more than the loose change in your pocket. Developed for Kokuyo, a Japanese office furniture maker, the modular Ofon line is comprised of a series of boxes and panels. It can be mixed and matched to create filing cabinets to desks and dividers and more.

To lock or unlock? Just use some small change. [ofon via designboom]
