According to market research, sales for portable wireless speakers have tripled last year. In fact, the portable the better. Bose is now introducing its new, more compact level with the SoundLink Mini.
Bose took its time to get into this segment because it didn't want to compromise on sound quality. According to Bose, its new speaker is capable of "full range" audio in a compact package that measures just 2 x 7 x 2 inches.
The speaker is tad bit heavy though. It weighs 1.5 pounds, compared with the Jambox's 12 ounces — but you also get some serious hardware. It's pair of full range 1.5 inch driver can really drive some sound home.
The speakers are coming in July and will cost $199.95 (approx RM650). A charging cradle comes in the box, and the battery is rated for 7 hours of continuous use.
