CPR is a simple procedure that could mean the difference of life or death for someone. It needs to be performed properly and the procedure can be fruitless if the chest compressions are too shallow, or too heavy.

To ensure it's done well, Physio-Control have developed a monitor called the TrueCPR which will provide precise feedback on how effective the CPR is being performed. The device uses a pair of pads which sits under the patient and another that sits on their chest and will constantly monitor the distance between the two using a magnetic field.

The data collected will allow the TrueCPR to provide constant and visual feedback on whether the compressions need to be deeper or shallower.
