Mathieu Mirano described his fall 2013 collection to the Wall Street Journal as being “about creating life on the way to another planet when we run out of resources on Earth”. His collection was filled with black, nude and metallic gathering with chiffon, leather, neoprene, galactic sparkle and a skirt studded with actual meteorites.
Here's an example of when fashion meets science. Mirano, who's dad has a masters in astrophysics and an uncle in botany is purely a geek designer.
