Concept Pollution Mask Has A Filter, Maps Out Air Quality Elsewhere and Around

Pollution is a growing problem, and especially in places like China, where it's becoming a plague out in the open. One report predicts that the country's pollution could increase by a terrifying 70 percent in the coming decade if emission standards aren't changed.
Frog Design's Shanghai branch has come up with a concept pollution mask and smartphone app that is designed to protect Chinese residents from all that smog.
Dubbed the AirWavemask, it features particle sensors that will allow users to view real time data about the air they breathe on their smartphones. The associated app would also allow users to view shared air quality data from other users in different neighborhoods and nearby cities.
It's a good invention no doubt, but let's hope we don't have to come to using this. After all, clean air is always better. Check out a few more images of the concept design below:
