This Chair Will Self Destruct After Eight Uses (Video)

A group of ECAL students created a chair that allows eight uses. That's right. Sit on this for 8 eights and it will then self destruct.
The DRM Chair has a small sensor which can detect when someone sits in it, and each time that person stands up, it knocks one off its counter. When the counter hits zero, the chair will melt all of its own structural joints and all the pieces will fall to the floor. Who said Ikea had the worst furniture?
