The Maschinenfabrik Oerlikon factory in Zurich is some 123 years old. And it was about to be torn down when a petition to save and relocate it popped up.
But rooting up a building and putting it somewhere else isn't a walk in the park. Swiss Prime Site, Swiss Federal Railways and ABB came up with a way to move it last May.
