Lowes has rolled out a new service looking to aid the aging population. The system is called Iris Care. The service will utilize your existing Iris home automation devices as well as a new safety pendant allowing you to know when the panic alarm is tripped if for some reason some elderly person becomes immobilized.

Iris Care will also make use of the home's existing cameras and motion sensors to track their movements throughout the home. It can be programmed with action rules so that it will notice certain things as well and can notify you by phone, email or SMS.
