Withings' Digitally Connected Scale Sends Your Apps The Truth About Your Weight

Withings has figured out a way to make getting on the scale easier and accurate. While getting on one isn't at the top of anyone's to do list most of the time, the WS-30 made by Withings calibrates itself in the background so it always gives an accurate reading.
The scale has a on screen prompt that will help you properly position your body when you're standing waiting for the numbers to appear. The scale will give users their weight and body mass index.
This $129 scale combines Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to connect with and will send data to the user’s Withings Health Companion App and personal Withings webpage. What do you think of the connectivity? Will sending your weight out to you be any useful?
