Here's a new ad for Samsung's Galaxy Gear, and it is by no standards a way to date a girl. It basically points out one thing: smartwatches are still ahead of their time.
First, we doubt your smartwatch would have any impact in improving your love life. All the scenarios being played in this ad are horribly forced and many don't feel like a natural time to use the gadget.
The classic two guys compete for a girl story is being played here, with one guy showing off his Galaxy Gear because that adds to his charm right away. Then he proceeds to snowboard behind the woman down the mountain, snapping photos of her as she tries to enjoy her run.
The dude that's not wearing the Galaxy Gear dropped his skis out of apparent shock that the Galaxy Gear is such a babe magnet.
