B1A4's Sandeul auditioned for Reply 1994 but didn't get picked

Sandeul said that he auditioned for "Replay 1994" before but got rejected.
MBC 'Radio Star' which was aired on December 4th, featuring Choi Min Soo, Sistar's Hyorin, B1A1's Sandeul and Slipper as guests. When Sandeul spoke in Korean dialect, the MCs asked where he is originally from and he said he is from Dadaepo, Busan.
Then they mentioned about his group member Baro who is currently starring in "Reply 1994", and they asked Sandeul whether he tried to audition for the drama before, he answered,"I did attend the audition, but they said they already chose a character with Kyungsang-do dialect".
He then said,"But I'm also good in Choongchung-do dialect, but they didn't choose me for that character", and it was revealed later that Baro was selected for the role
