Crayon Pop is involved in another plagiarism controvesy.
It was reported that 'Kurisumasu' which was released few days ago, is accused of plagiarizing 'Lupin III' theme song, a Japanese anime. In fact, the first 10 seconds of both songs sound very similar.
Crayon Pop previously was accused of copying Japanese girlgroup Momoiro Clover Z's style, from the helmet to the tracksuit fashion, even the Christmas concept for this comeback, but their agency just denied all of them.
Netizen have different opinions on this issue,"I think it's just a sample","I don't think they plagiarized it","Crayon Pop always goes with controversies","No wonder the first I heard it I found it really similar", and so on. "Kurisumasu" was composed by Kim Yu Min, the same composer for their 1st hit "BarBarBar".
Listen to the songs below. Do you think they sound similar?
