Pledis Entertainment signs joint venture with China’s YUEHUA Entertainment

Pledis Entertainment recently signed a joint venture with China’s YUEHUA Entertainment as the company makes their expansion into the Chinese market. On November 11, Pledis and YUEHUA Entertainment will have a strategic press conference for their full-scale joint venture labeled as ‘YUEHUA Entertainment X Pledis’, at the Beijing Banquet Hall. Son Dam Bi, After School and NU'EST will attend the event in support of Pledis as well as artists from YUEHUA Entertainment. YUEHUA Entertainment is one of China’s premiere talent agencies that houses to various artists including former Super Junior member Hangeng, Singaporean singer A Do and more. Executive director of Pledis, Jung Hae Chang, stated, “It marks the first time for a K-pop agency to officially cooperate with Chinese music company. We have bigger expectations stemming from this collaboration since the country’s music market has such a big potential.”
