Having performed well in weekend drama ‘You’re the Best, Lee Soon Shin’, IU is coming back to the small screen through KBS ‘Pretty Man’.

On October 22nd, a press release confirmed that after recent discussions, IU has been casted as the female lead, Kim Bo Tong in KBS’ upcoming new drama, ‘Pretty Boy’.

Like her name which means ‘normal’, IU is an ordinary girl but has a lovable charm. She has a crush on Dokgo Ma Tae (Jang Geun Suk), and will find herself in a love triangle with David Choi, played by Lee Jang Woo.

Based on a comic book of the same name by renowned Korean cartoonist Chon Kye Young, ‘Pretty Man’ will tell the story of Dokgo Ma Tae, the prettiest boy in the world, who wants to gain money and power by using his beauty.

Meanwhile, ‘Pretty Man’ will air on November 20.
