Actor Song Joong Ki is officially entering the military to fulfill the 2-year mandatory service.

On August 27th at 1PM (KST), Song Joong Ki entered the 102th unit at Chuncheon, Gangwon-do, where he will receive four weeks of basic military training before officially start his active duty. He will be the first celebrity to head to the army after the PR unit was closed down.

Ahead of his enlistment, Song Joong Ki spent the night with his family who had traveled up to Seoul from his hometown Daejeon. He also bid his final goodbye to his fans and the press who headed to the base to see him off for his enlistment.
