Billboard's Jeff Benjamin featured the comeback of BIG BANG's Seungri with his new EP, 'Let's Talk About Love'.

He began his article with a brief description of the teaser video of 'Let's Talk About Love'. He said, "...teaser video hinting that his new solo EP, "Let's Talk About Love," would be downright dirty". Then, he named its lead single, 'Gotta Talk To U', as 'one of the slickest tunes released in K-pop this year'. He also described the music video of 'Gotta Talk To U' as sophisticated.

He wrote that the participation of Seungri's fellow members, G-Dragon and Taeyang, showed their maturity as artists since they debuted seven years ago.
Seungri's six songs managed to top the list of Billboard's K-Pop Hot 100 with less than half a week of his EP's release:

No. 62. "Love Box"
No. 81. "You Hooooo!!!"
