When a loved one passes away, we often use photographs as a way of
keeping that person's memory alive. But this particular photoshoot stands out as both a touchstone of the past and a reminder of how life moves forward.
Shortly before Ben Nunnery married his wife Ali in 2009, they had purchased a home together. Their wedding photos were shot inside the empty home as a way to represent the life they would build and share within its walls.
Sadly, just two years after the wedding, Ali died of cancer leaving behind a grieving husband and their little girl Olivia. Ben eventually decided to move out of the home to find a more suitable place for just the two of them.
