Ridley Scott's "The Counselor" had to be re-shot, but not exactly. The Hollywood Reporter says that Cameron Diaz initially shot the film with a full-on Rihanna style accent. However, that didn't sit too well with Fox execs. So she had to dub her work over later again. Scott's rep declined comment to THR, while Diaz's camp didn't respond.
The film tanked at the box office though, which was a bit of a surprise considering it had an all-star cast including Michael Fassbender, Penélope Cruz, Javier Bardem and Brad Pitt.
