Binge-watching sure sounds like fun. But this one Chinese woman's addiction to Korean drama series almost caused her to go blind. She watched 18 straight episodes, which might be equivalent to over 800 minutes of TV in a row.
The 20-year-old woman felt her eyes were "ready to burst out from her skull."
She also experienced stinging pain, blurred vision, redness, and a headache.
All the episodes were watched on her tablet and she did a marathon of "Cheese in the Trap," and Descendants of the Sun."
The attending doctors diagnosed her with acute glaucoma. Had she not gone to the hospital, she would have gone blind already.
