Kids these days. What are they up to we wonder? A 16 year old schoolboy from London has been arrested in connection with a massive cyberattack on a Dutch anti spam group Spamhous. The attack slowed down the Internet traffic in certain areas in Europe.
The teenager was arrested in April, and the details of his arrest were just leaked to the press.
He was arrested at the same time as the main suspect of the attack, Sven Olaf Kamphuis, according to The London Evening Standard.
"The subject has a significant amount of money flowing through his bank account. Financial investigators are in the process of restraining monies," the document continued.
Kamphuis was a representative of CyberBunker, a hosting company that accepts any kind of website "except child pornography and anything related to terrorism." He later denied that he was behind the attacks.
