Take these steps to speed up your iPhone:
1. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility, and then scroll down to “Interaction” and switch on Assistive Touch
2. Go to your home screen by clicking the home button, and then drag the Assistive Touch icon that appears to the bottom-right corner of the screen
3. Swipe down on the home screen to open Spotlight search, and when the Assistive Touch icon moves above the keyboard, immediately tap the screen to close Spotlight.
