With crazy dance skills and a catchy debut single, newcomer BEAST has certainly caught the attention of the k-pop world. But what grabbed MY attention about this group was not its impressive dancing or fabulous debut mini album, but its really, really good looking leader, Yoon Doo Joon.
Those of you who have watched the Mnet documentary Hot Blood probably remember Doo Joon, who competed for a spot in JYP Entertainment's group One Day, which was later divided into 2PM and 2AM. He then joined Cube Entertainment as a trainee and recently debuted as the leader of BEAST. Before BEAST's debut, he was featured in fellow group member Lee Ki Gwang/AJ's Wipe the Tears MV.
Well, I came across some photos of Doo Joon from back in the day--and they weren't pretty. In fact, if you'd shown me these photos and told me that they were Doo Joon's school pictures, I would've laughed and told you that you're insane. No way could someone this hot have looked so bad. Prepare to cringe.
He actually looks even better in motion. If you haven't already seen it, here's AJ's video for Wipe the Tears from earlier this year, which featured both Doo Joon and BEAST member Jun Hyung.
