[News] JYP Entertainment Canadian Auditions This week!

For those of you who missed or made a mistake at SM Entertainment’s Canadian auditions on Sunday November 22nd you have a second chance at your Kpop stardom.
On Tuesday November 24th and Wednesday November 25thJYP Entertainment will hold their Canadian Auditions at 287 Bridgeland Ave. Toronto Ontario, M6A-1Z6
The audition categories are: Singer, Actor, VJ, MC, and Model
In order to qualify you must be a resident of Canada and can be of ANY Nationality or Gender.However, they are looking for participants who were born from 1982 to 2000.
You need to complete the application and send it tousaaudition@jype.com and you will receive a registration number in your email. Print out your application number (including the registration number) and bring it with you to your audition.
Preparation: Singers need to perform a 1 minute section of a song of your choice without a microphone (just like Canadian Idol). If you are a dancer you need to bring your own music and perform a 1 minute dance routine. If you are an actor, VJ, or MC you will need to do a 1 minute sketch of impromptu acting or memorized acting (there is no designated script). Finally, if you are a model you will need to perform various poses and cat walks.
A list of those who passed will be announced individually by December 15th.
Please keep in mind that JYP Entertainment reserves the right to keep copies of audition footage it has filmed and received. The selected final winner will have an opportunity to be trained by the JYP Entertainment training program.
Registration is also allowed via walk-in on the day of audition… however it probably pays to register ahead of time as it will save you a long wait.
