“Ballad Emperor,” Shin Seung Hun spared no amount of praise for girl groups 2NE1 and Girls’ Generation as pop groups with “exceptional skills.”

In an interview with online music chart site, Monkey 3, the “Ballad Emperor” Hun said that he regards junior girlgroups 2NE1 and Girls Generation highly.

“Women Idol Singers are really giving male idol singers some serious competition this year. Their power and skills are really outstanding,” he said, “The group with the most powerful and sophisticated music thus far would be 2NE1 with their pop and catchy tunes and the group has well-animated dancing girls who look beautiful would be Girls Generation.”

Shin Seung Hun sung the OST for the hit KBS Korean drama, Iris, “Love of Iris” which is steadily growing in popularity along with the show itself. This OST would be part of his mini-album, “Love O’Clock.”
