Rainbow Kim Jaekyung revealed her relationship with Kara.

Kim Jaekyung and Oh SeungA has revealed that they almost debuted as Kara in the recent Newsen interview. Jaekyung would have started as a Kara member and SeungA would have came in when Kang Jiyoung and Gu Hara came in.

Leader Kim Jaekyung wanted to be a singer since middle school, but she realized when music came on her body froze. So she decided to enroll at a dance school. At the dance school, she met Lee HyoRi's cheorgraphers and through them, she was able to get an auditon.

Kim Jaekyung was almost going to become part of Kara but she stayed extra 4 years as trainees and became Rainbow's leader. She said, "I was in the company longer than Kara and since they debuted first I got jealous and became a bit discouraged. I practiced hard thinking that I would become famous one day too. I hope that we would become a great family like Kara."

Oh SeungA's relationship with Kara is deep too. She was able to see a DSP Media audition which led Kang Jiyoung and Go Hara into the business. She also auditioned and made it in, which led her to becoming a part of Rainbow.

There are other stories on how other members got in. Kim Jisook auditoned the same time as Kara's ex-member Kim Seunghee and Go WooRi was able to get into Rainbow through Infinity Challenge's ex-producer Kim Taehee.
