2009.12.15
Korean pop singer BoA is set to release her new J-pop single in Korea on Wednesday, according to a press release by SM Entertainment on Tuesday.
The singer’s 29th single “White Wishes”, which was released in Japan on December 9, will be available in Korea in two versions -- CD and CD/DVD.
“Wishes” is a medium-tempo ballad track that was featured as a theme song for the best-selling Nintendo game “Tale of Graces”. The album also carries another R&B track titled “The End and…”, which was written by the singer herself.
Limited editions of the CD version include a remix track of BoA’s 28th single “Bump Bump!” with a featuring by Japanese hip-hop artist Verbal of m-flo. The DVD contains a music video of “Wishes” and footage of the video in the making.
BoA, one of the most active K-pop stars on the international scene, debuted in 2000 with the album "ID; Peace B". She was discovered and trained by SM Entertainment, a major talent agency in Korea. She has released eight studio albums in Korea, six in Japan and made her U.S. debut in March 2009.
