The agency that Wonder Girls 2PM belong to JYP Entertainment (JYPE) were in Yeouido, Seoul officials say that in the afternoon in front of a television studio 'JYP Entertainment's' van was found illegally parked without the sticker attached to the vehicle. There were rumors that the fake managers of 2PM were waiting outside but soon there were police cars that had come to the site.
The 'real' staffs were waiting for the 'fake'. The 'fakes' had abandoned the car and did not turn up at the studio to the end. The results from the police show that the car was stolen.
JYP officials on the scene said "JYPE requested for a police investigation about the impersonated manager because of the fear that they could cause damage for either the agency or 2PM. But for now they are waiting for the results, but it seems they could not find any clue," he said.
In JYPE case of 'fake manager' they are waiting for a lucky chance which leads them to the answer. Recently these 'fake managers' are frustrating the industry because of using fraud against idol groups and are interrupting their activities. Money due to the casting and training are being frauded sometimes for personal attention which is required from the stars or fans.
Just by looking carefully around us we can easily spot the 'fakes' due to their suspicious behavior. SM, YG, JYPE agencies and most people, select trainee’s through regular auditions. It could be that the vehicle is misleading due to the fake number plates and the person in the car or outside the car is apprehensive. Here, the official fan club and fan-cafe and maintain close relationships with agency and fans also operate to see if the scam is right.
One of the agencies officials says, "It isn’t a brilliant theatrical mind of fans seeking to be a wannabe or a scam to trick others. Fortunately, there isn’t going to be any huge damage due to the good investigation”.
