The much-loved reality programme Family Outing is set to end in mid Jan 2010. It first aired in June 2008 and has captured the hearts of many ajummas and teens alike.

During it’s peak, Family Outing captured a high rating of nearly 30%, although it is currently at 10% now. As some of you might know, Yoo Chae Seok’s contract will be ending in Jan 2010 too. This coincidence sparks speculations that without its central figure, Family Outing will not be able to continue.
According to a SBS representative, a new reality programme will be replacing Family Outing. It is likely to consist of 6-7 artistes living in the rural areas. It is expected that it will consist of 2-3 idol members, 2-3 gag-mans together with an MC.
