Nickhun (Nichkhun Buck Horvejkul) is considered the most popular foreign idol star. He was born in U.S. and has a Thai father and a Chinese mother. During his years in the U.S., he was discovered by a JYP associate when he went to a Korean concert.

In his early debut stage in the summer of 2008, he appeared on SBS's "Yashim Man Man 2" and became popular. He had the nickname "prince" during Mnet's "Hot Blood" time. Although he was a foreigner, he was not awkward at all in Korean. He showed potential in a number of variety shows and stole the hearts of various "nunas" (older girls). Despite his nationality, he took the place of a "global younger brother." With his beautiful looks and chocolate abs, his popularity soared.

Nickhun's popularity soared even higher in Thailand. 2PM's popularity in Thailand was already at the "national group" level and Nickhun felt proud.
