Just about to promote the new album, 'In Love & War', pop singer Amerie visited Korea and had a surprise encounter with BEAST's Doojoon. On Mnet's 'Pop Con', BEAST's Doojoon was in charge of the interview with Amerie and turned the surprise encounter into a fun moment with his bright facial expressions.

With Doojoon's question asking if she had heard BEAST's music, Amerie revealed that she liked BEAST'S song 'Shock' singing one verse. Doojoon was unable to conceal his shock after she sang his own song.

Also asking if she had any interest in kpop, Amerie replied saying that she has always had an interest in kpop and mentioned that she liked BoA, Lee Hyori, and etc. and also said that she wanted to perform with BEAST and promised this while looking directly into the camera.

Also, Doojoon sang his favorite song 'Suffocated' by J. Holiday for Amerie, and she inserted harmonies while he was singing, allowing them to sing together. Amerie and Doojoon traded their own signed CDs with each other and ended the interview.

On the other hand, on the same day Amerie made an appearance on Mnet Countdown with her hit song 'Heard'em All' and showed the fans a charismatic stage. On this day, BEAST received 1st and showed tears of happiness
