The calls for TVXQ’s return to activities by Japanese fans don’t seem to want to cool down.
Sankei Sports reported on the 6th that, “On the homepage of popular Korean five-member group TVXQ, who announced a pause in their activities in Japan, support messages, pleas to keep the group from disbanding and calls for a return to the group’s normal activities have been pouring in from fans.”
According to TVXQ’s Japanese agency AVEX, the calls from fans for a message from the members of TVXQ themselves have also been arriving in vast numbers.
AVEX’s CEO Masato Matsuura stated on his Twitter that, “We are working hard to reply to the fans’ demands so please have patience and wait for a little while.”
On the other hand, TVXQ’s newest single has been shooting up the ranks ever since the news of TVXQ’s pause in activities was announced.
The 30th single ‘Toki Wo Tomete’, that was released on the 24th of March, moved from outside the rankings to 38th place for daily mobile phone ringtone downloads on music site ‘Reconchoku’. Also, the video clip moved from 7th place to 3rd, and the video clip ringtone rankings of the single moved from 2nd place to 1st.
