On April 29, Gummy's mother will be releasing a full length album online and offline the market. She will be fulfilling her life long dream after 30 years, her daughter Gummy will be releasing her new album at the same time as well.
Jang Sook Jung was very generous and supportive on the debut as a singer of her daughter and knew that her daughter was capable of becoming a star. Before, Gummy even said on various broadcasting shows that, "My mother sings better than me" and thanks to her mother which was one of the reasons why she debuted in the industry. Gummy is known for her strong and powerful vocals and looks like she inherited it from her mother. Her mother is nicknamed "Queen Gummy" because of her powerful vocals.
She has been taking care of her children and family for over 30 years and she has not forgotten her dream to be a singer. Her title track is named "Women are also" and it show her excellent singing which will be introduced to the audience.
Gummy also got involved with her mothers album and is co-producer and wrote songs and lyrics for her mother as well, she will also participate in the chorus part of her mother's title song. Fellow YG artists Lyn, Lee Jung, Yeongji and Robin which is one of the composers in YG also participated and helped in the album.
