Baek Seol Hee has died today, May 5 at 3:00 am from complications due to Hypertension at the age of 83. Last year, late 2009, she was admitted to the hospital due to complications from hypertension and she has been ill since.

Baek Seol Hee is one of the most popular singer in the late 80's and she is the a grandmother of T-ara member Boram who share a close relationship with her. Boram has been finding time to visit her Grandmother in the hospital despite her busy schedule.

Fans as well has expressed their condolences to the late Singer. "May your soul rest in Peace,", "She's one of the music industry's biggest stars", "I hope your comfortable in heaven" were some of the comments of fans and netizens.

Baek Seol Hee debuted in the industry in 1943 and she has a lot of hits since her debut such as "One fine spring day" and many more as she progressed from the 50's to the 60's and she was greatly loved by the public.
